Diafani is a small fishing village set in a wild landscape in North Karpathos. The locals are extremely hospitable, our beaches are clean and the sea is crystal clear. There are several nice restaurants in the village, with reasonable prices, where you can eat fresh fish every day. You may even share a table with the fisherman. We are happy that many visitors return to us year after year and are sure that, if you want, you will find a good companion. There is very little traffic in the village making it ideal for walkers or for families with children.
The hotel is situated at the beginning of the footpath to Olymbos. We have a small boat and Captain Vassillis will be happy to take you to secluded beaches. If you are lucky you will see dolphins or even the rare Monk seals. Most days you can see Bonnelli's eagles and Elanora falcons and in the spring and autumn bee eaters, kingfishers and golden orioles. In spring time our landscape is carpeted with flowers.

Ferry boats from Rhodes and Piraeus arrive in Diafani twice a week. There is a daily caique schedule every morning at 8.30 from Pigadia and four times a week there is another caique schedule in the afternoon.
